Bird Seed Cookies

These cookies are great to have in the kitchen for a quick and healthy snack. They have no added sugar, and are sweetened just by the banana and the dried fruit! My boys started calling them bird seed cookies because of the sunflower seeds!

1 banana
1 cup oatmeal (blended into a course flour)
1 tsp baking powder
1 Tbsp ground flax mixed with 3 Tbsp water (Flax 'egg')
1/4 cup almond milk
3 Tbsp seeds (We used raw sunflower seeds, and hemp seeds)
3 Tbsp dried fruit/berries (we used dried blueberries, golden raisins, dried pomegranate, and dried goji berries)

Preheat the oven to 350
Mash the banana with a fork
Mix in the oat flour, baking powder, flax, and water
Fold in the seeds and berries
Scoop cookie dough with a tablespoon onto the cookie sheet
Bake for 15 minutes
Makes 18 cookies
