Fresh Strawberry Peach Popsicles

Popsicles, kids, and summer just go together. Come summer, our freezer was always stocked with big sticks or twin pops. Most days ended with stained shirts and sticky sweet forearms from those brightly colored, sugar filled frozen treats.

I want my own kids to be able to enjoy Popsicles in summer just like I did, but the refined sugar and artificial dyes are two ingredients we try to avoid as much as possible.

Luckily, in season summer fruit is super sweet, and brightly colored! Perfect for Popsicles.

I made these last night, and gave them to the boys while they were playing out back in their little pool. Whatever it takes to keep cool. It was 104F today! Whew!

1 sliced peach
1 cup hulled strawberries
1/4 - 1/2 cup coconut water (or plain water)

Blend the  peaches and strawberries, adding water as needed to thin
Pour into Popsicle molds.
(If you don't have molds, you can use cups and Popsicle sticks.)
Freeze for 4-6 hours until solid.
